Norman grew up in Ottawa, Ontario and graduated from McGill University in
Montreal. He has been acting professionally since 2000.
He has had the opportunity to play several lead roles in film and on stage, as well
as in improv. Norman has classical theatre training, and has studied improvisation at the source: Second City and IO Chicago,
under well-known teachers such as Charna Halpern and Susan Messing. He has also studied with Jacqueline McClintock, a well-regarded
teacher of the Meisner technique.
A fearless, intelligent, and open professional actor, Norman adds depth, humour,
as well as a sense of charm to each role he plays. He is active in theatre, film, and television and is comfortable playing
asian as well as traditionally non-asian roles. He also writes and creates his own work.
Norman has a passion for challenging himself and living life. He has purposely leapt out of a perfectly good plane 4000
feet in the air and survived to tell about it. He loves cooking (and eating) good food, playing the sport of Ultimate Frisbee,
travelling the world, and learning new things.
Norman is a full member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA).
